Strawberry Pretzel Salad

The Method

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350° F.

Mix pretzels, 4 ½ tbsp sugar, and melted butter. Press the resulting mixture firmly in the bomm of a 9 x13 Pyrex® pan. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool completely.

Beat sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the Cool Whip. Spread over the cooled crust. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, until the mixture is set.

Stir together Jello-O and boiling water. Mix in the frozen strawberries and pour over the cream cheese mixture.

(Optional) If the mixture is too runny, put in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes to cool a bit.

Refrigerate until completely set, about 1 hour.
