About This Book
A family archive disguised as a cookbook.
This project is not only a cookbook. It is an attempt to keep people, meals, and memories from fading as paper recipes age and family stories get harder to retell exactly the same way.
The recipes here come from a mother, an aunt, friends, and the long chain of people who fed the family around holidays, beach trips, potlucks, and ordinary weeknights. Some are polished. Some are rough around the edges. All of them matter.
The point of the site is to preserve those recipes in a form that can keep growing, be shared more easily, and eventually carry new additions from the next round of family cooks.
